Our commitment
We are committed to meeting our obligations under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act and to providing goods, services and information in a way that respects the dignity and independence of people with disabilities.
What this site does
- Targets WCAG 2.1 Level AA
- Every page is fully operable by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator
- A skip link to main content is the first focusable element on every page
- Exactly one
h1per page and a meaningful heading order throughout - Text contrast meets or exceeds AA against every background used
- Form fields have real labels, and errors are announced rather than shown only in colour
- Window illustrations are decorative line drawings marked
aria-hidden, so a screen reader is not read a list of shapes - The multi-step booking form announces which step you are on
- Layout reflows to 320px without horizontal scrolling, and text resizes to 200% without loss of content
Known gaps
We would rather list these than claim they do not exist.
- The signature pad in the customer account requires pointer input to draw. A type-your-name alternative is provided and is equally valid, but the drawing method itself is not keyboard-operable.
- This site has not yet been through a formal third-party accessibility audit. That is planned before launch.
- PDF quotes are generated from a template that has not yet been checked for tagged-PDF accessibility.
